Step 1: Apply your favorite base coat.

Step 2: Apply white polish to all of your nails except your middle finger.

Step 3: Apply two coats of green polish to your middle figner.

Step 4: Apply a latex barrier or peel off base coat around the cuticle of your index, ring, and pinky fingers to protect your skin while doing the ombre.

Step 5: While your latex dries, apply a black stripe horizontally across your green nail using a black striper.

Step 6: Clean up any mistakes as necessary with a small brush dipped in acetone.

Step 7: Using a gold nail striper, paint a small box in the center of the black line on the green nail.

Step 8: Apply your ombre colors (in this case light green, dark green, and gold) onto a clean makeup sponge and lightly dab onto your white nails excluding the thumb.

Step 9: Repeat this process as necessary until your desire look and opacity is achieved.

Step 10: Using an orange stick remove the latex barrier from your finger.

Step 11: Apply a shiny top coat to all of your colored nails.

Step 12: With green polish and a dotting tool, create three small heart shapes on your thumb arranged to create a clover. Finish with a small curved line at the bottom.

Step 13: Apply a second coat of green polish on your design then using tweezers apply matching flocking powder on top. Press down gently and brush off any excess with a clean paint brush.

Step 14: Enjoy your new desgin!!
